We fulfill these 6 human needs in many ways, some resourceful and constructive, and others not so much. When we understand these needs, coupled with those that we have an affinity for, we can consider more resourceful ways to meet our needs that create peace and harmony in our lives.
When our needs are disordered, we catapult into a crazy eight pattern, not able to see past our immediate situation and the concept of change becomes foreign, scary, or even hindering. Can you relate? Why do we keep doing habitual things that are hurtful to our emotional, physical, and spiritual selves? What is acting out? What is the deep meaning of living a whole life rather than a second rate version of our life?
Understanding our needs and how we order them in our lives is an enriching way to absorb change as a passage to something greater, more fulfilling, and could possibly recharge your life into something you never expected it could be.
